TY250 Carb Problems I have a 1984 TY250S Mono which has some serious carb problems, when I got the bike it didn't have the small fuel dampening washer in the float bowl so it was burning a plug every 2 hours of riding. I have bought the official Yam washer but it was still running really rich so I made a slightly bigger one to make it run a bit leaner, this made a lot of difference but it still coats its plugs in oil and eventually they are fouled so much that they stop sparking. It also has, instead of the standard 145 main jet, a 112 item in place. The needle is also on its lowest setting and it completely fouls the plug after 10-13 hours riding depending on how cold the weather is. Has Anyone else had this problem and does anyone have any ideas? It also runs when the mixture screw is removed. I know it isn't the main crank seals/bearings because these have been replaced during a complete nut and bolt engine/gear box rebuild to try and solve this problem but also the very lumpy gearbox which refuses to change from neutral to second gear occasionally.
Thanks to anyone who might be of some help.

Sorted!! I have now Sorted my Carb problems, there was a small peice of fluff blocking one of the air flow holes in the back of the carb that lets the air mix with the fuel before it comes up the main jet, i have now replaced the standard jet and fuel damper and also put the standard plug back in, runs a treat!!
